Loyal listeners, you know how this works. And for you brave lonely souls newcomers, TR3 is a podcast dedicated to chatting all things Star Trek, while hosts Scott Collura and Phil Pirrello often engage in a game of Awkward Humor Chicken. (This week, Scott wins in a landslide with his pervy trip down "Yep I Said That Aloud" lane.)

In honor of our podcast's second season, we've grown Riker beards and ditched our cheerleader uniforms, Next Gen style! (Unlike TNG, we hope our S2 doesn't end with an ass-pile of a clip show.)

"I bet they're talking about my leg again."

Episode 1 of Season 2 starts things off with a dose of Star Trek 2 news, as we analyze the awesomeness of Benedict Cumberbatch being cast in the film, most likely as its new villain. (Khan-berbatch?!)** We then warp speed over into a discussion of our most-requested episode: Deep Space Nine's brilliantly dark "In the Pale Moonlight." You know, the one where Sisko breaks the fourth wall and dances with the devil to push the Romulans into the Dominion War. Best DS9 ep ever? Nerdebate commence!

And as always, we set our phasers to "silently mourn" the loss of another Red Shirt of the Week. All that and more await you in what science has called audio's greatest achievement since singing Bass wall fixtures!
