Episode 13: Two Many Rikers!

Yes, we live in a world where there's a TV show where there are two Will Rikers. Indeed, life is grand.

Phil and Scott return for our latest, most technically inept podcast yet! Yes, Transporter Room 3's engineers can master pattern buffers and targeting scanners, but sometimes the intricacies of Garage Band are elusive to them. Still, we forge (La Forge?!) ahead with a discussion of one of our favorite not-so-great TNG episodes, "Second Chances." You know, the one with the two Rikers! No, the other one with the two Rikers!

Then, of course, we do the Listener Mailbag thing (Saavik got knocked up by Spock?) and Red Shirt of the Week (did you know Worf was a killer of red shirts?)... before things all go to hell.

Episode 12: Charlie XXX and The Art of Kirk-Fu

Charlie X, the OG Mindfreak, visits Transporter Room 3!

Before Phil and Scott devote much scholarly banter to one of The Original Series' best episodes, we nerd it out over the following:

--Alien-themed brothels in Vegas and our ideal sex sandwich fantasies with the ladies of Trek

--CES' "$10 Million Dollar Invent a Tricorder Contest"

--Star Trek 2 starts production! Finally!

--The Time-Tested Martial Art of Kirk-Fu

"Trek brothels await you."

And of course, no TR3 joint would be complete without another trip down Red Shirt of the Week lane. This week's walking HMO nightmare hails from "Charlie X," and shows us why laughing at the kid who can thought-bomb you out of existence is never a good move.

A Master Class in Trektacular Discourse awaits you in Episode 12 of Transporter Room Thrice!

Episode 11: Khan-berbatch?!

Season 2 of Transporter Room 3 begins -- now... ish!

Loyal listeners, you know how this works. And for you brave lonely souls newcomers, TR3 is a podcast dedicated to chatting all things Star Trek, while hosts Scott Collura and Phil Pirrello often engage in a game of Awkward Humor Chicken. (This week, Scott wins in a landslide with his pervy trip down "Yep I Said That Aloud" lane.)

In honor of our podcast's second season, we've grown Riker beards and ditched our cheerleader uniforms, Next Gen style! (Unlike TNG, we hope our S2 doesn't end with an ass-pile of a clip show.)

"I bet they're talking about my leg again."

Episode 1 of Season 2 starts things off with a dose of Star Trek 2 news, as we analyze the awesomeness of Benedict Cumberbatch being cast in the film, most likely as its new villain. (Khan-berbatch?!)** We then warp speed over into a discussion of our most-requested episode: Deep Space Nine's brilliantly dark "In the Pale Moonlight." You know, the one where Sisko breaks the fourth wall and dances with the devil to push the Romulans into the Dominion War. Best DS9 ep ever? Nerdebate commence!

And as always, we set our phasers to "silently mourn" the loss of another Red Shirt of the Week. All that and more await you in what science has called audio's greatest achievement since singing Bass wall fixtures!
