Episode 44: Star Trek's Most Underrated Episode?

Kodos the Executioner in the house, yo!

Transporter Room 3, Episode 44

The first two seasons of Star Trek: The Original Series are by far the best first seasons for any Trek show. And arguably, in those early days eps lies one of Trek's most underrated hours: "The Conscience of the King."

This week on TR3, Scott and Phil sing the praises of this (literal) Shakespearean whodunit, which finds Kirk struggling to I.D. the infamous Kodos the Executioner before a murderer aboard Enterprise kills our captain!

And after our ode to the "King," this week's Red Shirt pays us a visit from "The Deadly Years"… Ageists beware!
