This week, grab some tissues because Scott and Phil break down five moments Trek on TV made us cry like Geordi at a Holo-diction Anonymous meeting.

From a post-Borg'd Picard in TNG's "Family" to Jadzia's death on DS9, we pick our favorite moments when Trek pulled on the ol' heartstrings.

We also dive into the Mailbag to share one listener's live-tweeting of old Transporter Room 3 episodes. (Wha?!) And of course, no episode would be complete without a visit from a Red Shirt. Today's used to call Voyager home, until a space cloud killed him…

  1. Without any doubt it's 'Inner Light'. That last scene where Picard plays the flute really gets to me for whatever reason. It's hard to put into words but it's there's this intense feeling of loss in the scene married the happiness that he was even fortunate enough to gain that which was lost.

  2. I would say Inner Light as well but for me it is when his long dead wife and friend come back. By that time he had forgotten all about his other life and here comes his wife back from what he saw as the dead. What a MF. Then of course when Lul, SP? dies and says "I will feel it for the both of us".

  4. I was a bit surprised you had nothing to say about the actor who portrayed Picard's brother, Jeremy Kemp.

He is a classic actor, also pretty famous, who played in movies like "A Brigde Too Far" or "The Blue Max" (Der Blaue Max, a german medal of WWI).

He also played the role of a german scientist in a Space 1999 episode, "Voyager's Return".

    please google him! :)

    love your podcast.
