  1. Perhaps the wrong place to post, but I like to think of this as a mental dumping ground for nerds.
After hearing the news of the time era for Discovery, I decided to re watch the ST:ENT two part pilot, and some of the Xindi arc from Season 3. I honestly came away sad, the opener is very disjointed, the 'plot' is never concluded - we see some blood cells with a code, no one even speaks or ever mentions anything about why they risked everything to get the Kilgon home. Similarly the Xinidi arc has great elements but is pretty much ruined by 'sphere builders' 'temporal cold war' and *shudder* Daniels.
I just hope that Discovery has an actual plot, basically I want the West Wing in space, mixed with DS9 - that is to say, episode by episode happenings, with a background story arc, politics of a possible war, consequences for actions, less focus on love lives and more these people doing their job and trying to understand how humanity fits into larger space politics. Mixed with a mirror universe ep where all the women are slutty for no good reason.

  2. A mental dumping ground for nerds is what we've always aspired to be!

The West Wing in space sounds good to me. Can we cast Martin Sheen somehow?!

    3. Hi Mr Collura I am a Big Fan of Transporter Room three Keep up the great work and I just want to say I am really excited for this new Star Trek series because it takes place 10 years before TOS and we know that in TOS they were very Trigger Happy, so this new series takes place after the Romulan War 10 years before TOS and starts off during the Klingon War we can bet that they will be Very Trigger happy and this will make for great Drama, also this new series is on CBS All Access so they don't have to listen to broadcast Standards so they can be more Dark Gritty and Graphic with there content even Bryan Fuller said they wanted to go to CBS All Access because they wanted to go more Graphic I'm so excited.
