From spore drives to Klingons snacking on Michelle Yeoh, "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry" is largely unlike anything we have seen in Trek before -- which is a good thing. We also have another Red Shirt from Discovery, who proves that Trek has a female security chief problem. And Scott makes us all jealous with that time he talked face-to-face with William Shatner about if Captain Kirk could come back for Discovery!
So replicate yourself a new uniform, stop figuring out whose sorry job it was to go retrieve Captain Georgiou's telescope, and listen to the newest TR3 right now!

for the battle at the end of the episode they do drop bombs(or torpedoes) and there is even a torpedo explosion sound as the explosion kicks off.
ReplyDeletebut that battle was lame as Frak. there are like 3 shots of the klingons getting in close and even passing over the disco while lorca just waits for them to get closer. and then he drops a few bombs explosive enough to take out ships with shields but not the bldgs without shields below. lame.
and when the disco jumps in it blows away 2 klingons instantly using phasers, no time to lock on er anything. but then doesnt use those same effective weapons to finish the job, just waits for his ship to take a bunch of damage and drop some torps and bug out. is lame.
still love the new trek and am so happy i have something like it to pick apart.
