The Shat is a force to be reckoned with, and he’s returned to TR3 for a chat about Star Trek livin’. Then we get to our Red Shirt of the Week, and this is someone who hits home, and hard, for Jim Kirk. Even if it’s just a temporary death. Yes, those count too!

From spore drives to Klingons snacking on Michelle Yeoh, "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry" is largely unlike anything we have seen in Trek before -- which is a good thing.

We also have another Red Shirt from Discovery, who proves that Trek has a female security chief problem. And Scott makes us all jealous with that time he talked face-to-face with William Shatner about if Captain Kirk could come back for Discovery!

So replicate yourself a new uniform, stop figuring out whose sorry job it was to go retrieve Captain Georgiou's telescope, and listen to the newest TR3 right now!

With his new book The Autobiography of James T. Kirk set to be released next week, author David A. Goodman beams in to talk about how he filled in the blanks in the Starfleet legend’s life story while also connecting the dots to the many adventures we’ve seen Kirk have onscreen. Along the way, David also recounts his time writing the Futurama episode “Where No Fan Has Gone Before” which introduced The Original Series crew to the Planet Express gang in classic (and hilarious) fashion.
